Unless facility licensed and is load pre-authorized
Batteries
Rechargeables, button batteries, lead-acid batteries
Dangerous wastes
Explosives, fireworks, flares, hot ashes or unprotected “sharps”
Electronic items
Computers, monitors, printers, TVs, stereos, VCRs, DVD players, digital converter boxes, video game consoles, personal music players, PDAs, phones, chargers
Hazardous waste
Gasoline, pool chemicals, acids, drain cleaner
Liquid waste
Regulated medical waste
Mercury-added products
Fluorescent bulbs, thermostats, thermometers, barometers
Oil
Used oil and used oil filters
Paint
Oil-based paint, stain, varnish, thinner, stripper, etc. (latex paint OK if dried)
Propane cylinders, other gas cylinders
Smoke detectors
Tires
White goods
Refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, etc.
